Trouble

Isaac ripped a key off my keyboard. Thankfully Paul was able to get it back on. I'd hate to have to type for awhile without an "S." He also pried up the ALT key. I can't get it lay back down flat.

This started a conversation with Paul on when do we want to replace my computer. I'm waiting. :)

Frugality

Paul is preparing against the lean times. We have a little extra money in the bank right now. So I've been getting the Sunday paper and keeping an eye out for sales. We went to Se@rs and got him some PT shoes while they were on sale. And then we got him some new boots. His old ones are okay. They've got a few months left. So Paul has put them up in the closet for when he needs them.

Toys from childhood

Paul spotted these trains and remembered having some similar when he was a kid. So we had to get them. So far Isaac finds them to be a fairly fun teether.

Deal

I went to Target today and while looking around I saw these super cute holiday outfits. I almost got one before Christmas but didn't. They were 75% off! I had to get one today. Even if it doesn't fit at the right time it should fit when it is cool enough for him to wear it.

New People

We went and met James, the brand new baby two of our friends had a week ago. He's tiny tiny tiny. Isaac thought he was pretty interesting, too.

Activity

Isaac is in the starting stage of crawling. At least, crawling over us.

We had some friends over. And they brought us housewarming flowers! The flowers openned right up in the warmth of our home.

The reason Paul became a dad

I think that Paul became a dad entirely so he could walk around with his child on his shoulders.

We just moved at the begining of this year. Check out the sunset from our bedroom window.

Mel's

My meetup group met for launch today at a local hole in the wall place called Mel's Burger Joint. I had a seriously delicious burger, as did Paul who got out of work just in time to join me.

Mel's had some awesome funky decor. I wasn't feeling brave enough to photograph the cool items on the walls or the Mexican banners spanning the ceiling. Maybe next time.

Because diet or no diet, there will be a next time.

And Isaac and I went through scrapbooks today. He really enjoyed it. He kept putting his hand on pictures of Paul. So sweet.

365 Days in Photos

I have a regular blog, I *heart* Change where I talk about my daily going ons. For awhile I've considered doing 365 days of photos of things where I live and mainly the baby. Let us be honest. I take MAD amount of photos of the baby.

So I'm going to try to take a photo a day of my everyday things for the next year.

I'm not going to promise that it will be interesting - it might not. Or that the photos will be great - they probably won't be. But I can try to be consistent and share a bit of my life in pictures everyday.
